We like serving this on winter nights in our dining room at the winery, with a wood fire blazing and candles
aglow. This is another dessert in which the sweetness is tempered by savory spices such as ginger and
cloves, making it a fetching match for the supple tannins of our Landslide Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
This is a dessert that works with wine because it’s not overly sweet. The cranberry compote brings
tartness and acidity to the dish, and the spices in the pudding marry nicely with the hints of gingerbread in the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir Reserve.
For this summertime crostata, we feature the classic combination of strawberry and rhubarb, creating a sweet-sour dynamic that pairs seamlessly with the forward fruit and crisp acidity of our dry rosé.
